The cup
Founded in 2015 by Dane Kresten Thogersen in a courtyard off Münzstrasse near Hackescher Markt, Father Carpenter established its own in-house roastery in 2023. The cafe serves espresso and filter from its own roasts alongside house-baked pastries, and has developed a loyal following in Berlin's creative Mitte neighbourhood since opening.
